As a Dad, I highly suggest getting your kids out into a MUD PUDDLE, and BAREFOOTED! There is just something so natural & a "Get to Know Nature" feeling the cool mud squishing through your toes, as you play with an even COOLER MUD TRUCK! A lesson in "Growing Roots", I suppose. Kids need to experience mud, and dirt, and rain - all the goodies that go with SUMMER TiME - OUTSiDE!

For all of those interested in my Setup, I have changed to an AXiAL SCX10.2 2000 Jeep Cherokee Body, as well as Axial 1.9 Wheels. I have used GLUED rims - so I never have to worry about these tires pulling out of a bead, or taking on water. I have no plan on changing these tires off of the rims in the future, so I'm not concerned

For tires, I am using RC4WD 1.9" scale Tractor Tires called "Mud Bashers" I chose this tire for its lightness, and ability to shed mud. I find larger tires hold onto the sticky type of mud/clay we have.. making the trucks very heavy. As you can see in this video.. these tries work great.

A lot of folks wonder why I changed my ESC and Motor to a Tekin RX4 & 3100kv ROC 412 Element Proof Brushless setup. I like the stock ESC that came in the TRX4, but the motor is a bit weak towards MUD. The Element proof Motor I am using has a lot of torque and speed - as well as brushless precision. Powered on a 3s Lipo Battery, there is more than enough torque to twist tires through the mud!

I am still using a stock servo, and a stock radio.

For me, it doesn't take an investment of money to have a good time with your children. It takes an investment of time. Putting your toes into some gushy mud costs nothing.. and can offer so many smiles for the family! Try it out, its AWESOME!
