I feel compelled to apologize to our viewers for not addressing this issue sooner, but always a performer, I've never wanted to burden you with my issues. I have been hiding the truth about my back issues since I started RC ADVENTURES so many years ago. My goal has always show a positive attitude, and not burden our viewers with groans and moans about how I was hurt. "The Show Must Go On" has always applied with my attitude about my back injury and YouTube. Quite recently, I have injured my back again, as I suffer from an affliction called Degenerative Discs. This simply means that the small discs in my spine that separate the vertebrae have been losing their fluid, causing them not to cushion my spine very well. This has caused me some issues where the discs are damaged, and cause muscle spasms and other nasty issues I wont bother to get into.

The purpose of todays video is to bring to light that I have been suffering more recently, and this is why I have had to lighten my video production as of late on YouTube. Be rest assured, I am working everyday to ensure I can find a "cure" for what is ailing me - and in the mean time be producing RC ADVENTURES as usual. The only thing is - there are some things I can not do as well as I used to.

I am sad to announce that the "BiG DiRTY 2017" has been cancelled due to the injury I have sustained. It is too much work for me to do, on such a massive scale. Every year I have done this event, and it''s usually while Im in great pain - this year, I want to take this time to heal, and to do my best to continue doing what I love - and to be the best Darn Dad / Husband I can be! Currently, my son is 3 .5 years old.. and is a bundle of energy! Dad cant go on the trampoline with him, and I am limited in some of the things I can do already - I certainly dont want to make it worse. Just the opposite!

So, where does this leave us with RC ADVENTURES?! The Same as it has always been! But, as little Maurice gets older, and as my wife is always willing to get in front of the camera - it is slowly becoming FAMiLY RC ADVENTURES! This has always been my dream :)

It is people like you, the viewers, the readers - the community - that help make this show possible! We are almost at 1 Billion views.. and we are honoured, as a family - to have been invited into your homes, your places of work, and all over the world. My family, and I thank you! Your support during this difficult time is appreciated, and noticed. :) You know me by now, I'll bounce back and come up with something awesome soon enough!

Now.. I'm going to go for a small walk.. and try to loosen up these old bones of mine.. haha ;)
