Twice Baked Poutine - Handle it ─ Epic Meal Time

This week Harley gets some help in the kitchen from Michelle Mylett. Come learn how to make a Double Baked Poutine now!

Ingredients

4 Large baking potatoes
Vegetable oil and sea salt for seasoning
1 Bag of shoe string french fries
4 Tbsp of butter
Salt and pepper to season
2 Cups of cheese curds
1 Can of brown gravy
Any additional toppings of your choice

Tools

2 Oven trays
1 Mixing bowl
1 Masher
1 Small sauce pan
1 Chef Knife
1 Cutting board

Step 1
Cut the top off the potatoes about a 1/4 inch thick then line a tray with tinfoil and cover with vegetable oil and sea salt. Bake potatoes in the oven at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour.

Step 2
Bake french fries in the oven for 10 minutes at 425 degree Fahrenheit.

Step 3
Remove baked potatoes from the oven and begin to hollow them out like a canoe adding the guts to a bowl. Be sure to leave some potato against the skin.

Step 4
Season potato guts with butter, salt and pepper then add cheese curds and mix well. Add potato mixture to the potato shell filling it half way.

Step 5
Begin sticking french fries in the potato then cover with cheese curds and gravy then Bake for 10 minutes until cheese is melted.

Step 6
Add additional toppings as you desire.
