Phora came up in Anaheim, and it was anything but easy. His mother worked a long string of jobs to provide for the struggling family, and nearly lost his life. Coming out of two years spent in juvenile detention, the ever artistic teen went from tagging to inking to rapping. His hip hop career began as far back as 2010, when he was just sixteen years old. But it would take years of hustling before he'd get cosigns from the likes of mainstream artists, like Hopsin, amass hundreds of millions of views on youtube, and earn a number one spot on the Billboard rap chart.
