RC ADVENTURES - Project: "SPiNTiRE" - Haul Lumber w/ 2WD Open Diff - 1941 Truck - KR11 International ─ RCSparks Studio

This truck is 100% Brand New! And this is my FiRST Time out. I finished painting it (the model used to be white) and yes, I put the back deck hinges on TOP. Some would say they are on incorrectly...and those people would be correct. Haha! But for me.. it gives maximum height, and suits my purposes here at the ranch.

The completely fabricated and made up story about this truck is that this is a very old barn truck I had inherited from my grand father. It sat our in the lean too for years, and I always eyeballed it when I was younger. Now, I have it in my possession and I was surprised that the old bugger fired up! It took a new set of plugs, new oil and a whole lot of TLC.. but I got it running well. She's a rusty Brute, and only being 2WD with an open diff.. the terrain can be challenging. Overall.. I really enjoy this old truck .. reminds me of simpler times.

Some people may know I am a fan of the video game "Mud Runner", by "Spintires", on my XBox One X. This game allows you to simulate being a Lumber Trucker, making your way through the back woods and through the swamps in a capable, but slow-going Military-style work truck. I have done a lot of RC builds on YouTube, but never a 2WD 1/12th scale Trail Truck.

"Asia Tees", (an online RC distributor), suggested I had a look at this kit. This is a the scale replica of the American International KR-11 heavy duty tractor from the 1940s. I am so excited for this build, becuase its completely unique and a new challenge for me!

King Kong RC 1/12 CA10 Tractor Truck

"Background:

The 1:1 CA10 was originally based on the American International KR-11 which was supplied in great numbers to the Soviet Union during WOII. It is a scale replica of the KR-11 and subsequent versions that were designed based on the original KR-11. They were used as tractor trucks and used in construction in the 1940s. It has close resemblance of the Dodge WWII Powerwagon. The subsequent CA10 was primarily a military truck and they were also produced into various civilian variants, including ambulance buses, fuel trucks , water tankers , dump trucks, lift trucks, construction vehicles, and fire trucks."
