The autumn season is in the air, and all of the leaves have blown away from the tree's. It s a perfect day for a "Halloween Style" crawl in the backyard trail park. So many viewers have asked to see this truck with the DUB STYLE wheels on the trails.. and today, i can make that happen. The model I am using is a 13.5lb Jeep JK from CAPO. This is the SECOND Model of jeep that the company Capo came out with. It is marketed as a 1/8th scale.. but seems to be closer to a 1/10th scale (to me). Its definitely a heavy rig to wheel around, but it certainly moves a lot like a "real size" jeep. The LARGE tires are from a company called D1RC, that I found on Aliexpress. These are the 3.2" wheels and "Black Widow" tires. Pretty good. Unfortunately, the large tires have compromised one of my Axles - but these axles have been abused prior to this filming. There is no question though, large wheels will have a detrimental effect on your axles, if they are "weak" or not hardened steel. It adds more force, to the weakest point.. which was the neck of the axle. I thought a drive pin had popped out.. but, I was mistaken!
