Gunna is easily one of the most sought after rappers on the planet right now. Gaining massive popularity through his numerous mixtapes as well YouTube videos, you can equate his recent success to that of a musical explosion... or tidal wave... or hurricane. Whatever you wanna call it, he's got pretty high hopes for the future. When asked what his goal is during a XXL interview, he stated that he "wants to be a rap icon", later adding that he's going to be either the next XXL Freshman or Michael Jackson. While the future seems bright for Gunna, it wasn't long ago that he had some life choices to make. The Atlanta native was caught up in the street life as well as boring legitimate jobs on the side and a career in hip-hop seemed like quite the long shot. It wasn't until a friend of his introduced him to a popular A-Town rap star that things really began to change, a blowing up in the rap game was a seriously possibility.
