Mo Bamba is the subject of a worldwide rap hit. He and his pal Sheck Wes grew up together in New York City's Harlem, where they both shared a passion for basketball. But while Sheck ultimately chose a life in hip-hop, Mo stuck with it. In 2018, at just twenty years old, Mo was drafted to the Orlando Magic. At seven feet tall, this Magic centre has had quite a rise to the top and with the new basketball season just beginning, we have high hopes.
Now while getting to the NBA is the goal for millions of young kids looking to make a career on the court, Mo's has been quite the journey, one filled with both ups and downs, including a family scandal involving his older brother.
