Saweetie has become one of the most promising young acts out of the Bay Area in recent years. She found a passion for rapping in middle school but her journey to fame wasn't a straight road. She attended college at USC while working multiple jobs and struggling to find resources to help push her music career. Eventually, she used social media as a tool to reach new audiences, including the right industry connects, who helped her get a record deal.
