With all the opportunities a young talent could ever dream of YNW Melly had gotten himself mixed up in some real life tragedies. After the murders of Anthony Williams and Christopher Thomas Jr., the police initiated a months long investigation to find the people culpable for their deaths. It wasn't until February 12, 2019 when Cortlen Henry, who is known by his stage name YNW Bortlen, was the first person arrested and charged in connection to the deaths of the two victims, YNW Sakchaser and YNW Juvy. All members of the hip hop collective YNW, these lifelong friends, whose most prominent member Melly would make a revealing social media announcement before turning himself over to the police...
