Crohns.. the Autoimmune disease that is hidden from everyone, but the person experiencing it, and their families. #Crohns is another word for "Inflammatory Bowel Disease". Part of my bi-weekly routine is an injection of #Humira - a $1800 shot of medicine that I need insurance to help pay for. This is a shot I will have for the rest of my life.. :( . I also take pill in the morning and one in the evening.. .. and get this shot to look forward to every few weeks...
It's not something I'm proud of.. but its not something Im embarrassed about either. These are the cards I was dealt.. so I play them the best way possible! I keep a #positive mental attitude because the alternative is not something I would like to be involved with.
Being sick sucks... being sick with an "invisible" disease is even worse.. because so few people will ever understand what it's like. They judge you, and say cruel things. I am used to it. This disease should not be experienced by anyone. Basically.. it makes you shit all day long, and you can't eat very much. It puts holes in your intestines and make you unreliable to most everyone.. because of the constant need to evacuate.

Since this above posted diagnosis video, I have been recovering and managing my symptoms. This disease in incurable, and causes a lot of pain throughout my body. It is not something that will kill me.. only make me miserable any chance it gets. I have bouts of "flare-ups" that make life really difficult... but like any warrior I meet each day with a fighting attitude!
