THRASHER JET BOAT - NEW THRUST VECTORING OPTION! | RC ADVENTURES ─ RCSparks Studio

http://www.StreamlineRC.com - "Porpoising", by its very definition means to "alternately rise above, and to submerge". When it comes to Radio Control boating.. the term could mean different things for your boat depending on water conditions. In white-water conditions, porpoising can keep your bow above the waterline - allowing the boat to stay on top of a wave while being propelled forward. Alternatively, it can harm speed performance when trying to ride on flat, open water.

The ability to adjust the thrust nozzle on a Radio Controlled (RC) JET BOAT has never been available, until TODAY! Streamline RC has sent me some prototype parts (a Ride Plate and a New Thrust Cone), to try out on my V3 Thrasher Jet Boat. This is a really cool option part for people who are always boating in different conditions and would like to dial in performance!

In this video, I have a look at the extremely easy install for the two parts while chatting about the theory of performance, and then head out to the open water for some practical use.

There is a noticeable difference in the performance of the boat, and I am stoked that I got to try them here first! Scott Pennestri, the designer.. is a Genius. Pure and simple.
