As we are all under self-isolation rules as of March 2020, I have been continuing my efforts to get outside into the spring break up and start grabbing some footage to tantalize and entertain you. #inthistogether The snow is melting, and the 1/10th scale river of water on my property is flowing nicely. This only happens for a few days every year, so I love to get outside and take advantage of it as much as possible. Winters are long, in Alberta, Canada (where I am), and to see the snow melting is a delight!
I know we are all a little stir crazy as the world is currently facing a health crisis (at the time of this filming), and to see a little outside time with some sun, will be a relief for some people. Myself, and my family are self isolating, and we have been for 14 days so far. We are doing well, and making the most of our time as a family. Playing, laughing, and getting through the difficult talks like so many other families are doing. In uncertain times I think its important to send a message of unity, solidarity, and common concern for your neighbours well-being. I hope this video brings you some laughter and joy, and if even for a moment - to escape the noise for 10 minutes. Never forget to play, my friends... Life is meant to be enjoyed. It's not all about fear, concern and uncertainty. You are not alone in feeling uncomfortable.. but just take it 5 minutes at a time. If you are able to make it through the 5 minutes, you are a champion. Do 5 minutes more.. Then take a break, a few deep breaths, then do it all over again. Pretty soon, we will be through this crisis, and will be celebrating on the other side. Be well, my friends. KEEP CALM, and HOBBY ON!
