PROJECT "OVERKILL" 2020 - HOW to MAKE a DUAL SHOCK MOUNT for ANY TRAIL TRUCK (PT8) | RC ADVENTURES ─ RCSparks Studio

Welcome back to my "ground up" build, where I have been collecting parts from all around the world, and making a few of my own, to make a radio controlled 1/10th scale "Tough Truck Competition" off road machine called "PROJECT OVERKILL 2020". Today I demonstrate in a tutorial how to make a shock mounting plate that will allow ANY Trail Truck hobby enthusiast to make their single shock truck, into a DUAL shock truck, with the help of a few simple tools and supplies. Project Overkill is truly about function & beauty - so I think this modification is a welcomed one and you should be well entertained and inspired. Now I think it is SEMA worthy!

This 20" truck has a wheel base of 13.8" and weighs approximately 9lbs. The battery is a 3s Lipo, 5000mah Hard Case, that adds nice weight over the front Vanquish "Currie" F9 Portal Axle. The driveshafts are Supershafty CUSTOM shafts (different pinion shaft sized cups) hooked into a "Bombproof", custom Axial SCX10 transmission. The Chassis was purchased from GCM Racing, and is the C-Maxx 19.7 inch Aluminum, super slim ladder frame chassis. The brass links are hand made by "RC Issues", I sourced them on ebay.
