Welcome. TODAY my TRUCK Gets a LONG ANTICIPATED NEW "PAiNT JOB". PURE MUCKY FLUIDS OF THE EARTH.. SOUPY MUD. I found some great slop mud for us to really test out the Hobbywing Axe System with the 550 can sized brushless, sensored motor - and super shafty transmission! I am really pleased with the Vanquish Portal Axles.. they were butter-smooth. This video is part 13 of an ongoing build video series I have created on YouTube, building this truck "from the ground up" to be a purpose built "Top Truck Competition" competitor. Built to have have a solid driveline, maximum clearance and plenty of "horsepower", this "1/10th" scale electric SEMA-STYLED PROJECT "OVERKiLL" 2020 Build - a Radio Controlled Jacked-up Mud Truck. Actually, this truck will compete in several events including a "Frame Twister", "Mud Bog", "Tug of War", "Obstacle Course", "Weight-Sled Pull" and the "Tank Trap". The truck can not be changed for ANY of those events.. "May the best Truck Win" that kind of idea. It is purpose built to keep it light-weight, but heavy enough to get great traction and plant it on the ground. The truck appears high-centered - but truly it is an illusion. At the END of this video.. I demonstrate how easy my truck was to clean and dry - off camera I applied a dry-spray lubricant to all of the drive line and the bearings.
