Kanye West went on another one of his infamous Twitter rants over night, calling out the 6 god himself, Drake. Kanye, in too many tweets to count, begins by talking about how Drakes verses on Travis Scott's "Sicko Mode" contain what he sees to be a threat towards Kanye himself and his family. He tweeted, "Been trying to meet with you for 6 months bro. You sneak dissing on Trav's records and texting Kris talking bout how's the family." This is in reference to Drakes line in "Sicko Mode" where he says "I crept down the block, made a right, cut the lights, paid the price" Now you might be wondering what that line has to do with Kanye. Well people did some digging on google maps and figured out that Kanye's house is actually down the block and to the right from Drake's, making it pretty clear that Kanye's house is the place Drake is referring to in that line. Once you realize that, the whole 'cut the lights paid the price' thing seems a lot more sinister. And you thought it was just a simple rap banger! After a lot more tweets Kanye mentions that Drake called him, but clearing things up he tweeted "Drake called trying to threaten me." He goes on to mention the kid who rushed Pusha T on stage in Toronto and how he believes Drake was behind it. It all gets a little complex and confusing, with Kanye making a lot of spelling mistakes and sometimes even tweeting the same thing twice. But to trying to summarize it, Kanye seems to want to make peace with with Drake, avoiding any violent confrontations… but he also wants to make it clear that he believes Drake and other rappers wouldn't be where they are today without him, tweeting "Ye never been easy. I navigated these waters before you. That's why you could be you." He ends up finishing up his long twitter rant with tweets like this, so it seems like he's just trying to focus on the positive in his life. But as if the whole situation wasn't messy enough, the lovely Kim Kardashian decided to step up for her husband Kanye tweeting out "@drake Never threaten my husband or our family. He paved the way for there to be a Drake." Following it up with "My husband is the most brilliant person, the most genius person that I know. He has broken so many boundaries, everything from music, stage design, fashion and culture and will continue to change the world." I gotta say, it's great to see her standing by her man Kanye like that… although with all of the praising of Kanye genius in that tweet, it sounds a bit like Kanye got a hold of Kims phone and tweeted those out… Just a theory! I don't know! At the end of the day, Kanye does suffer from some mental health issues, something that he mentions in this recent wave of tweets, so I hope all is well with him and if positivity is what he is seeking, well I hope he finds it.
